Christopher "Wedo" Salazar, 50, of Ralls passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Lubbock. He was born October 27, 1973 in Floydada, TX to Pablo G. and Maria Salazar.

He was a 1992 graduate of Ralls High School. He worked several years for Apex Machine, and then Crosby County Pump. He had been working for TX-Dot for the last 15 years. Wedo enjoyed hanging out with his family, hunting, fishing and watching his son play sports.

Wedo is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Ann of Ralls; His parents of Ralls; one son, Steven Salazar of Ralls; two brothers, John Salazar of Round Rock, TX and Moises Salazar and wife Loretta Salazar of Ralls; one sister, Sasha Chavez and husband Jesus of Manor, TX; one step-brother, Edward Almanza of Ralls; one step-sister, Victoria Garcia-Mata (Michael Contreras); Step-mother, Mary Lou Sifuentes of Ralls; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Friday, March 29, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Ralls.

A funeral service will be 10 AM, Saturday, March 30, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Ralls
