Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Michael Anderson, who departed this life peacefully on November 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at the hospital. Born on March 12, 1973, Christopher was the beloved son of the late Ardie Anderson Langston and Ray Langston.
Known affectionately to many as Michael, he was a proud graduate of Ralls High School, class of 1991. From a young age, Michael demonstrated a deep and abiding faith, dedicating his life to Christ and formalizing his commitment through baptism at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ralls, Texas.
Michael's greatest joy came from spending time with his family and cherished friends, a sentiment especially true when in the company of his niece and nephews. His infectious laughter and radiant spirit were a gift he generously shared with everyone he encountered, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. His vibrant presence and boundless joy will be deeply and universally missed.
Michael was preceded in death by several beloved family members: his devoted mother, Ardie Langston; his brother, Anthony Dupree; his sister, Latoya Langston; his grandfathers, KY Anderson and Tommy Lee Dixon; and his grandmother, Geneva Langston; and his uncle KY Anderson Jr.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his devoted sister, Candace Dupree of Mesquite, Texas; his beloved grandmother, Loletha Anderson of Ralls, Texas; his father, Ray Langston of Lubbock, Texas; and his brothers, Alvin Miller and Ray Langston Jr., both residing in Lubbock, Texas. He is also survived by his aunts, Debbie Anderson and Mary Gray of Ralls, Texas; his uncles, Tony Anderson (Carmen) and Harold Anderson (Gloria) of Lubbock, Texas; and Willie Paul Anderson of St. Louis Missouri. Michael's legacy continues through his nephews, Chauncey, Chad, and Chance Dupree of Plano, Texas, and Cyng Dupree of Mesquite, Texas, as well as his niece, Zamaya Dupree of Mesquite, Texas. Additionally, he is survived by his aunt and uncle, Reverend Kenneth and Ambra Jackson of Floydada, Texas, along with a host of cousins, relatives, and dear friends whose lives he touched.
Michael was a truly remarkable individual whose compassionate spirit and warm heart brightened the lives of countless individuals. He was loved by many and will forever be remembered for the joy and light he brought into the world.
