Chance Lane Cypert, 41, of Lorenzo passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was born February 7, 1980 in Lubbock to Roger and Rhonda Tucker Cypert. He attended Lorenzo schools, where he was very active in athletics and many other extra-curricular activities, graduating with the class of 1998. He then went on to earn his BS Business from McMurry University, and worked in the banking field for seventeen years.

He was an enthusiast of sports, classic cars and shooting guns, and he loved barbeque. He enjoyed spending time with his family, college friends and extended family, but especially his nieces. He took pride being a member of the Kiwanis.

Chance is survived by his mother, Rhonda Cypert of Lorenzo; one brother, Clint Cypert and wife Lauren of Allen, TX; two nieces, Kennedy and Eliza Cypert; one uncle, Richard Tucker of Post, TX; and one aunt, Roxie Powers of Pampa, TX; and the love of his life, Heather Davis.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Marvin and Vivian Cypert, and Tuck and Jimmie Tucker; Aunt, Rhonda Klein; and Uncle Randy Cypert.

The family suggests memorials to Animal Rescue Crosby County, P.O. Box 561, Crosbyton, TX 79322.

A memorial service will be held 10 AM, February 27, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Lorenzo with Rev. Don Boren officiating.
