Carolyn Dewbre, 68, of Crosbyton went to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Carolyn came into this world on February 24, 1948, born to Fred and Josephine Phillips Stevens in Scott County, Tennessee. She was married to Eddie Dewbre on December 31, 1966 in Crosbyton. Carolyn worked for the Crosbyton Clinic Hospital as a Registered Nurse for over forty years. She was a loving mother and wife and will be deeply missed.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, two brothers Olen Stevens, David Stevens and one sister Dian Stevens.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Eddie of Crosbyton, two daughters, Christie Garcia of Lubbock and Amy Miller of Tellico Plain, Tennessee, her mother Josephine Stevens of Strunk, Kentucky, one brother, Archie Stevens of Strunk, Kentucky, two sisters, Barbara Stevens of Strunk, Kentucky, and Freda Nilblack of Onieda, Tennessee. Carolyn also leaves behind six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. A visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. Online condolences can be made at www.adamsfuneral.com.
