Byron Roberts, 83, of Lorenzo passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born October 3, 1939 in Sipe Springs, Texas to James Roberts and Alice Chambers. He married the love of his life, Patsy Gibson on December 19, 1959 in Mexico. Byron was a coach and teacher for 25 years. He loved building and repairing things, he really enjoyed the outdoors, going hunting and fishing every chance he got. Byron was a family man; spending time with his family was always the best of times.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Patsy of Lorenzo; two sons, Monty Roberts of Lorenzo and Randy Roberts of Denton; two brothers, James E. Roberts Jr. of Leander, and Roger Roberts of Levelland; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a great grandson, Beaux Silas McGee.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday February 27, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Ralls. Burial will follow in the Post Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. Sunday February 26, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
