Obituary

Brenda Ann Jordan was born and raised in Crosbyton, Texas. She entered this world on September 13, 1949, to Willie and Vida Smith. As a young lady, she showed steers in stock shows and was active in FHA throughout her high school days. Upon graduating high school, she moved to Lubbock where she worked for Mister Doyce's Tuxedo Shop. She married the love of her life, Charley Jordan on July 23, 1977, in Crosbyton, TX.  They began their marriage living in Abilene, later relocating to Wichita Falls, Texas.  In September of 1978 they welcomed their daughter, Brenna Ann.  Brenda and Charley returned to Crosbyton in 1982 and entered the restaurant business.  Soon after doing so, they had their son Chance in 1984. Brenda divided her time between being a mother and working beside Charley at their restaurant at C & B Drive Inn. In 1989 they moved to Levelland where they continued their restaurant journey, in addition to raising their children. In 2005, they welcomed in with loving arms and adopted a son, James, into their family. They returned to Crosbyton in 2009 and built Charley's Place Restaurant. Brenda assisted in the business but prioritized her time in being a housewife and "Mimi" to her grandchildren and great grandchild.  She spent countless hours attending any possible ballgame and other activities the grand kids were involved in. Brenda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a Red Raider at heart, attending Texas Tech football games with Charley throughout their long life together.

She is preceded in death by her parents - Willie and Vida Smith, grandparents - Ben and Willie Mae Askew, and grandparents - Bennie and Velma Smith.

She is survived by her husband Charley Jordan, her daughter Brenna Jordan, her son Chance Jordan and wife Brianna, and James Shows and wife Christian.  The joys of her life that called her Mimi, Kyleigh Ferrin Tyler (DeMarcus) & great grandson Kaenen Benton, Madilyn Kate, Sutton Elizabeth, and Brooks Gregory Jordan, and Mason Shows. She is also survived by her 2 brothers Wayne Smith and Benjie Smith (wife Rosana).
