Bonnie Dwaine "Bud" Doss, 87, of Crosbyton passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 in Lubbock. He was born on March 16, 1928 in Oklahoma to Charlie and Jewel (Roberts) Doss. Bud married the love of his life, Margie Whitehead, on December 1, 1948 in Crosbyton and they were happily married for 66 years. He enjoyed making music, reading, woodworking, and planting trees. Bud enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was always there to lend a helping hand if you needed it.

He is survived by his wife Margie Doss of Crosbyton; three daughters; Diann Wallace of Crosbyton; Rita Riney of Odessa; Betty Reed of Crosbyton; his son; Mike Doss of Lubbock; four brothers; Robert Doss of Lubbock; Charles Doss of Keller; Jimmy Doss of Crosbyton; Tommy Doss of Lubbock; his sister; Kay Smith of Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6-7 pm on Tuesday, October 13 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton. Graveside services will be held at 11am Wednesday, October 14 at the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. Les Reed officiating.
