Billy Ray Wright, 86, of Ralls went to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 19, 2016. He was born January 19, 1930 in Ralls, Texas to Dozier and Lavonia (Warren) Wright. Bill married Nina Ashley on September 7, 1949. Together, they owned and operated Wright's Grocery for many years, as well as Wright's House of Dolls. Bill was a member of the Rotary Club and a member of the United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Ronny Wright; and his grandson Kyle Wright.

Those left to cherish Bill's memory are his wife Nina (Ashley) Wright of Ralls; his daughter; Sherry Matheny of Ralls; his son; Steven Wright and wife Nolene of Tallahassee, Florida; seven grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 pm on Saturday, November 26, at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel, with burial following in Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-7 pm Friday, November 25, at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
