Billy Drake of White River Lake, formerly of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Billy was born on May 20, 1961 to George Wesley Drake and Mildred Faye Harbin Drake. He married Rita Fair in Lubbock on July 19, 1980.

Billy worked for Mrs. Baird's Bakery for over 13 years. He retired after 10 years of service to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was a member of the Lubbock Caprock Dart Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kenneth and Dennis.

He is survived by his wife Rita of White River Lake; his sons, Chris Drake and Kevin Drake of Lubbock; one grandson, Daniel Drake of Lubbock; one sister, Pam and husband Joe Sanchez of Snyder. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
