Billy Bevel 81 of Lubbock formerly of Ralls went to be with her savior Monday July 9, 2018.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 11, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Ralls. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral of Ralls. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Billy was born September 27, 1936 in Floyd County to Bill and Eva Jewellene Chambles Switzer. She married Ken Bevel on January 23, 1955 in Cone Texas he passed away September 13, 2014. She was a wonderful pastors wife for thirty-five years and loved serving the lord and served in many churches as secretary. She loved people and would do anything for anyone in need.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother James Switzer.

She is survived by three sons; Monte Bevel and Terri of Lubbock, Michael Bevel of St. Joseph Missouri, John Bevel and Barbara of Loomis CA, two sisters; Betty Wideman and Bob of Lubbock, Judy Darby and Chuck of Lubbock, Sister-in-law Paula Switzer , Five grandchildren; Marla Woodward, Rusty Bevel, Joshua Bevel, Kayla Duffy, Nathan Bevel, and nine great grandchildren.
