Betty Lou Payne went to be with her Lord and Savior early Monday morning. She was surrounded by her dearest loved ones in her final days.

Betty loved her church, taking care of her beautiful yard, talking for hours on the phone with loved ones, and all her family. She was the matriarch of her family and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Payne; four brothers, Pete Jr., John, James, George Lowrey; and her parents, Pete Sr. and Clara Lowrey.

Betty is survived by her son Carl Coleman and wife Vanessa of Ralls, stepson Larry Payne and wife Tracy of Longview; her grandchildren, Jacqueline L McKoin and husband Keith of Bastrop, Callie Cortez and husband Kristian of Lubbock, Jessie Brown of Ralls, Kimberly Turner and Kyle Payne; her great grandchildren, Pacen Lee Moore, Carlie Jane Coleman, Alexa Brown and Dalton Brown. She also leaves her loving nephews, Anthony and Perry Lowrey and other nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friends; Lu Ella and Willard, Albert and Nelda Balderas, and many more special friends.
