Betty Lira 60 of Wilson passed away June 15, 2017 with her family by her side. Betty was born June 18, 1956 in Crosbyton Texas to Anselmo and Lupe Alcalar Garcia. She married Charlie Lira in October of 1977 she was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, a devoted mother and house wife, she always had a smile for everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter Brittany.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years Charlie Lira of Wilson, a daughter; Charlene Lira of Wilson, two brothers; Anselmo (Beaver) Garcia of Crosbyton, and Pete Cruz of San Angelo, four sisters; Susie Medina of Miles, Janie Rendon of New Home, Anita Marquez of Crosbyton, and Rosie Salas of Crosbyton.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday June 19, 2017 at the San Jose Catholic Church in Crosbyton Texas. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. A rosary will be held Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the same church.
