Bernice Coleman 73, of Lubbock, Texas passed away May 13, 2026. She was born on January 11, 1953, in Crosbyton, Texas to Sarah McDavis and Sam Coleman.

Bernice was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, she loved playing dominoes, cards, and watching family feud. Her biggest passion was her family and spending time making memories with them. Bernice was an amazing person and will be missed dearly by her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, April Coleman, Steven Coleman, Stassney Coleman, James Christopher Coleman; her sisters, Sarah Wiley, Charlie Butler, Cherie Coleman, Mary Jane Antwine; her brother, John Wesley Coleman; 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at adamsfuneral@gmail.com.
