Obituary

Barry Colt Sue, 41, loving husband and father, went home to Jesus on January 9, 2024. Colt was born on August 1, 1982, to Bill and Suzanne (Summerford) Sue in Lockney, TX. A lifelong resident of Ralls, Colt graduated from Ralls High School in 2000. He then went on to graduate from Amarillo College in 2011 with a degree in Mortuary Science. Colt was a 3rd generation expert long-haul trucker for Robert Floyd Sue Trucking for over 20 years. He married the love of his life, Megan (Blagg) on May 20, 2006, and they had three beautiful children. They traveled countless highway miles across the US in Colt's truck laughing and enjoying their time together. He never met a stranger and was the life of the party. His laugh was contagious, and he had a huge personality. He was an active member in the community where he was currently serving on the Ralls ISD School Board.

He was a Godly Christian man, sharing the Word with friends and strangers, and praying over anyone in need. He was known for his selfless acts of kindness by helping anyone in need and offering rides and food to strangers.  Colt was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Genesis Baptist Fellowship Church in Lubbock.

Colt was reunited in heaven with his grandparents, Robert and Nell Sue and Kenneth and Bobbie Summerford.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; his wife of 17 years, Megan; two sons, Noah and Levi Sue; one daughter, Hannah Sue, all of Ralls. Half-brother, Cody Marlar of Ralls; In-laws, Carl and Jodie House of Crosbyton and Bobby and Mary Blagg of Lubbock; Sister-in-law, Lauren and Scott Miller of Crosbyton; nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Even though Colt was taken too soon, he lived an extraordinary life surrounded by people who adored him. Please join us as we celebrate Colt's life at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 15th, at First Baptist Church in Ralls, with Ben Phipps officiating and Matt James assisting. Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls. Visitation will be held from 2-5pm Sunday, January 14th at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.

The family has asked that memorials be made to the Colt Sue scholarship fund at Ralls ISD 1082 4th street Ralls Texas 79357.
