Barbara Gordon

Barbara was born to Matthew and Viola Gordon in Crosbyton, TX. She attended Fredrick Douglass Elementary School and Crosbyton High School. She graduated from El Paso High School and attended the University of Texas at El Paso. She worked at Texas Instruments for several years and retired from working in 2011. She was blessed with a loving heart and a generous spirit. She will be missed.

She is survived by her sister, Lynda and family members Teresa Robertson, Tanya Robertson, Tamara Smith, Tony Johnson, Donna Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Shelia, Larel, Johnny Wiggins, III, Robert Wiggins, La Toya, Amber, Cassandra Morrell and numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Viola; grandparents, Johnny and Betty; uncles,  Joe, Johnny, Lindsey, Gene, Sam, Grady, and Raymond; aunt, Mary Sue Robertson; Rodney Robertson, and beloved cousin, Anita Kay Banks.

Special thanks to Debra Robertson for her support and care. Great appreciation goes to Calvert Hospice Care and the nurses at Covenant who helped to keep Barbara comfortable in her last days.
