Armando A. Perez was born December 1, 1942 in Spur, Texas, he passed from this life on March 27, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He married Amanda P. Garcia on August 24, 1960 at the Dickens County Courthouse. They were married for 58 wonderful years.

Mr. Perez was a heavy equipment operator for the Texas Department of Transportation for 36 years. Armando was a faithful member of the Iglesia Bautista Getsemani of Ralls and he was an avid Texas Tech Fan.

Armando is survived by his wife Amanda Garcia Perez, his daughter; Dina Perez of Ralls, his sons, Adam Perez of Arlington, Victor Perez of Irving, Robert Perez and Matthew Perez of Ralls; 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, his sisters Elicia Garcia of Greenville, South Carolina, Esmeralda Camacho of Stephenville, Sofia Gonzalez of Stamford, Lupe Minor of Round Rock, and Sylvia Gonzalez of Slaton.

Armando was preceded in death by his parents Juan Perez and Sofia Alvarez Perez, one great-grandson Brandon Lee Wooten, his sisters Emelia Reyes, Anita Pimentel, Ermenia Minor and his brother Esbardo Perez.

A memorial service to honor the life of Armando A. Perez will be celebrated on Saturday, March 30 2019, at 1:00 PM at the Iglesia Bautista Getsemani, 613 Tilford in Ralls, Texas, with Pastor Fred Smith officiating.
