Arcadio Hernandez Sr., 75, of Lorenzo, Texas passed away on Sunday February 14, 2021. He was born on January 12, 1946 to Isabell and Guadalupe Aranda Hernandez in San Juan, Texas. Arcadio was a family man and loved spending time with his grandchildren. In his younger years he enjoyed boxing.  Arcadio farmed for many years and spent his free time listening to old corridos, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, telling stories, working on cars, or watching his favorite movie Lonesome Dove. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Arcadio is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his sister Juana Garcia.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sons, Senon Hernandez and wife Melissa of Littlefield, Arcadio Hernandez Jr. and wife Lisa of Lorenzo, Juan Ramon Hernandez and wife Sarah of Lorenzo; his brothers, Tino Hernandez, Juan Antonio Hernandez, Andres Hernandez, Gilbert Hernandez, and Jesse Hernandez; his sisters, Victoria Toya Vargas, Lupita Martinez, Martina Hernandez, and also five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services for Arcadio will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday February 20, 2021 at the Lorenzo Cemetery with Father Rene Perez officiating. There will be a viewing on Friday from 9am to 6pm at the Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo. Online condolences can be made at www.adamsfuneral.com
