Andres Sanchez Sr. 88, of Lubbock, TX passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015. surrounded by all his loved ones. He was born on November 28, 1927 in Galena Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Brijida Morales and Jesus Sanchez.
He married Cleotilde (Barba) Sanchez on May 24, 1947 in Edinburg, TX.
Andres loved to travel, to the Rio Grand Valley, Austin, Mexico and San Antonio. He loved to take the scenic route to Cone, TX to see the cotton fields. Where he was a farmer for many years... before joining the oil field, where he traveled to Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma and all over Texas. He brought home different colored rocks to add to his rock garden at home. He retired in 1999.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great great-grandfather and father in law. Who will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Petra Sanchez of Monterrey, Neuvo Leon.

He is survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters, Santos Sanchez, Rodrigo Sanchez, Antonio Sanchez, Maria Ramirez and Lupia Rodriguez from Galena Nuevo Leon, Mexico and Felipa Gonzalez of Hargill, Texas.

He is also survived by his beloved wife of 68 years and 14 children.

Andres had many ninos in his life.... he was blessed with 32 Grandchildren, 52 Great Grandchildren and 14 Great Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joe Ruiz Jr, Joe Ruiz III, Sylvester Ruiz, Chris Gonzales, Johnny Zavala Jr. and Darin Meitler

Rosary will be held 7pm Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ralls, TX.
Funeral Mass will be at 11am December 24, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Ralls, TX.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, TX on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 10 am.
