Andres C. Minor, Jr., 92, of Ralls passed away on May 31, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born May 1, 1934 in Poth, TX to Andres and Francisca Cervantes Minor.

Andres married Herminia Perez in 1955 in Ralls. He was a lifetime farmer. He loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He also enjoyed sitting on the front porch looking at the cotton field across the road from his house.

He is survived by one son, Epifanio Andres Minor and wife Lupe of Ralls; eight daughters, Janie Luna and husband Oscar of Yuma, CO, Adelita Canales and husband Marty of Frisco, TX, Chris Tana also of Yuma, CO, Martha Elmore and husband Jeff of Ekalaka, MT, Gracie Wells of Yuma, CO, Rebecca Roundtree and husband Jackie of Ralls, Victoria Carmona and husband Isaac of Lubbock, and Machel Minor and husband Juan of Celina, TX; 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ignacio Minor of Ralls, and Rumaldo Minor of Uvalde, TX; and two sisters, Juanita Candanoza of Pharr, TX and Connie Zuniga of Lubbock, TX.

Andres was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one son, Albundo Minor.
