Alta Faye Talbott 88 of Crosbyton passed away Monday January 1,2024. Faye was born August 24, 1935 in Saint Jo Texas, to Samuel amd Beatrice Humphries Martin. She married Jim Talbott on April 11, 1964 in Crosbyton Texas; He passed away February 2, 2003. Faye was an avid Crosbyton Chiefs fan attending every game she could and letting the referees know she was there, she always made it to her grandchildren's events supporting them. Faye kept the nursery for the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton for 35 years being very faithful in her service to the Lord.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, husband, her first husband David Rape, siblings; Samuel Lane Martin, Sarah West, and Cleve Martin, one grandson J Derrick Martin Diaz.

Those left to cherish her memory are; her daughters, Jamie Paschall and husband Jimmy of Fritch, Barbara Winningham and husband Jim of Amarillo, Freda Hitt and husband Terry of Ralls, Leesa Diaz and husband Jerry of Ralls; one son Randy Rape and wife Mindy of Slaton; 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday January 5, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Crosbyton, burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. A visitation will be held Thursday January 4, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Family suggest donations be made to the Crosbyton Senior Citizen Center in lieu of flowers.
