Alberto Rivera passed away September 29, 2020 with his loving family by his side. Alberto was born June 17, 1948 in Crosby County to Domingo and Delfina Ramos Rivera. He married Minnie Calderon on December 19, 1971 in Ralls Texas.

Alberto was a member of the San Michael's Catholic Church where he played in the choir. He loved the outdoors where he would hunt and fish, he served on the Ralls Independent School District Board for six years, and served on the Ralls Volunteer Fire Department for several years. Alberto was a friend to many and will be missed by all.

Alberto is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Rudy, Silas, and Roy Rivera.

Alberto is survived by his wife of 48 years Minnie of Ralls, two daughters; Michelle Rivera of Ralls, and Kim Perez and husband Matthew of Ralls, three brothers; Gilbert Rivera of Ralls, Victor Rivera of Graham, and Guy Rivera of Puerto Vallarta,  three sisters; Mary Rodriguez of New Braunfels, Sandra Rodriguez of Ralls, and Janie Reyna of Houston. Alberto also leaves behind his grandchildren; Chelsea Vasquez, Jaedon Pachicano, Matthew and Elijah Perez.

Funeral Mass will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday October 2, 2020 at the St. Michael's Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
