Alberta
Sedillo
Jul 24, 1944 — Dec 20, 2024
Ralls
Alberta Sedillo, 80, of Ralls passed away December 20, 2024. Alberta was born July 24, 1944, in Dilley Texas to Antonio and Julia Arevalo Sedillo. She loved to make hot sauce, Pecan pies, and making people laugh, which she was very good at, but her favorite thing was making memories with her family and friends on the holidays.
She has lived in Ralls since 1950 and was always active in her church, St. Michaels Catholic Church. Alberta served in just about every capacity and ministry as needed. She danced and kept the ladies going when making tamales. She worked for Caprock Community Action and served many people in our communities. She was employed at K-Mart until they decided to close down and at Cash Savers where she made many people happy. She ended her work career at Crosbyton Clinic Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her siblings Lucinda Lozano, Isabel Mata, Alicia Rodriguez, Leonard Cedillo and Juan Cedillo.
Alberta is survived by two siblings, Manuel Cedillo and wife, Natividad from Ennis, TX, and a sister, Josefa Fernandez of San Antonio, TX, Pedro Lozano and wife, Eva, daughters, Ana and husband, Matthew Perez, Priscilla Casanova, and her children Solomon and Isabella Vasquez.
She was an aunt to many nieces and nephews and enjoyed it when they came to see her. Alberta hardly ever met a stranger and talked to everyone she ever met. She will be missed dearly by her friends and loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to your choice of charity.
