Abel Saldivar, 74, of Crosbyton passed away peacefully and surrounded by family Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was born January 28, 1947 in San Benito, Texas to Abel and Dolores Leal Saldivar.

Abel farmed for majority of his life and was always a hard worker and great provider for his family. After a hard day of work he enjoyed relaxing and having a few drinks while listening to music. His biggest passion was his family and spending all his free time with them. His last words to his children before passing were, "tell the boss I will not be at work tomorrow". Abel was a good man will be dearly missed by his friends and loved ones.

He is survived by his two sons; Michael Garza, Mario Garza and wife Holli; two daughters, Michelle Garza and husband Robert, Maribel Garza all of Crosbyton; four sisters, Esperanza Perez of Santa Maria, Delia Hernandez of Weslaco, Eladia Saldivar of Brownsville, Santos of Santa Maria; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Abel was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Olivia; his brother, Nacho Saldivar; and his sister Ofelia.
