Services for James Thrasher, 56, of Ralls will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in the Ralls First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey, Texas under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
James passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010 at his home in Ralls. He was born on July 28, 1953 in Memphis, Texas to Harold and Bettie (Gilbert) Thrasher. On November 15, 1974 he married Susan Stone in Ralls.
James moved to Ralls in 1988 from Lovington, New Mexico and drove a truck for Gandy Trucking.
Survivors include his wife Susan of Ralls; two daughters, Chana VanDeValde and husband Chris of Slaton, Shelly Wilkinson of Lubbock; a brother and his wife, Bud and Marilyn Thrasher of Farmington, NM; two sisters and their husbands, Debbie and Lonnie Cagle of Flomot, Patty and James Lynn Kimbel of Estelline and three grandchildren Darcee, Dancee and Dayn VanDeValde.
