Funeral Home began in the 1920’s, first in conjunction with
a furniture store as was customary of that time, then as Marr
Funeral Home. In 1950, Millard and Fredda Carter became partners
with Mr. & Mrs. Marr and built a new facility at the present
location of 520 Watts in Ralls, Texas. In 1953, Mr. Carter became
sole owner of Carter Funeral Home. In 1964, Allan Adams came
to work for the Carters as a recent graduate of mortuary school.
In 1975, he became a partner and, in 1984, Allan and his wife
Gail became the owners.
The name was changed from Carter-Adams Funeral Home to Adams
Funeral Home in 1995.

We
are independently owned and operated, therefore we can offer
a wider variety of services and merchandise including cremations
that can meet the needs of anyone regardless of financial
condition. Prepaid funeral plans are available with payment
options that can fit any budget.
A variety of insurance for those wishing to prearrange their
funeral is also offered. Our affiliation with a selected monument
company using innovative computerized technology allows viewing
of the monuments before purchase, whether you choose granite
or bronze.
