Adams Funeral Home began in the 1920’s, first in conjunction with a furniture store as was customary of that time, then as Marr Funeral Home. In 1950, Millard and Fredda Carter became partners with Mr. & Mrs. Marr and built a new facility at the present location of 520 Watts in Ralls, Texas. In 1953, Mr. Carter became sole owner of Carter Funeral Home. In 1964, Allan Adams came to work for the Carters as a recent graduate of mortuary school. In 1975, he became a partner and, in 1984, Allan and his wife Gail became the owners.Select from one of our many urn vaults. The name was changed from Carter-Adams Funeral Home to Adams Funeral Home in 1995.
